Decided to check this place out today, albeit with some trepidation as previous Yelp reviews have been fair at best. My favorite breakfast is a Lox & Onion Omelette, so I thought I'd check theirs out. But lo and behold, they don't have one on the menu. So I thought I'd test the place out to see how they would do and asked for one. There was lox on the menu, so I knew it could be made... but would they? So I asked the waitron and she said, "let me check", went to the kitchen and got the affirmative, so I ordered one with hash browns and a lightly toasted English Muffin; a large tomato juice was my beverage of choice. Shortly afterward my breakfast appeared - everything as I had ordered. The omelette was a good sized one, though it did resemble a football - hadn't seen one like that in awhile. The hash browns were a touch dry, tomato juice was served wonderfully cold and the lightly toasted English muffin was right on the mark. Now for the last piece... the check - how much did she charge? I was hoping for or a Lox somewhere between $10.50-$11.50. they did have a Lox Benedict on the menu for $10.25 - that would have been quite a fair price. But no such luck - they charged me for a Lox Platter at $12.45 instead. Pricer than most competitors. Oh well, it was worth a shot - I may opt to go back, but as for having a Lox Omelette there again - well, at that price I think not.

It's a family style Cafe. The selections for breakfast are plenty from menu.food was delicious and healthy. Plenty of sitting area with lots of people enjoying the food & chatting.

Poor, Honeyberry Cafe. With such a fun name and the font of Rainforest Cafe on its sign...I was highly optimistic for this breakfast spot. (Fun fact - this space was previously occupied by a Max & Erma's) The whole space felt too big for HC's britches. The food was ok but nothing spectacular. Our service was meh and it felt empty. Have you ever had fresh-squeezed OJ that's really, really good? Me too. This isn't the same stuff that they offer here. It tasted like they took the juice from those gigantic oranges from the grocery store that are more watery than flavorful. I think this place can come around. A few signature items would be a good addition. Heck, even an introduction of some Bloody Mary's or Mimosas! (wishful thinking) I watched the owner (or who I assumed was the owner/manager) walk around and observe people's dining experience but never once saw him approach a table and ask how things were going/tasted. Honeyberry seems to lack an identity of its own and any real standout dishes. The cherry on the sundae was the art on the wall -- the picture had slid out of the matte but no one had fixed it. le sigh

This place has been on my radar for the last 3 years, we live close, and we finally stopped in. The restaurant is spotless, the staff is friendly , I ordered the steak skillet. It was average, the coffee was so so. Will I go back? Sure, we will try them for lunch someday.

We went for Sunday brunch. The food was fine - standard brunch/lunch offerings - but the "fresh fruit" and our service was horrific. We waited a good 10 minutes before our waitress acknowleded us and took our drink order, then when she brought the beverages she hurried away claiming she would be right back to take our food order. We then proceeded to wait another 20 minutes before she returned. We did not see her in our area at all during that stretch. We thought maybe she left, but then she appeared with a quick "sorry for the wait" comment. To be fair, there were several tables of 10 or more surrounding us, but they weren't hers, so we couldn't figure out the delays. We'll likely give it another try, but not on the weekend.

Check this nice breakfast & brunch place. It opened in April of 2013. They have good variety on the menu and items are reasonably priced. It has something for everyone, I feel. I liked their Ole Omelette and Honeyberry French Toast. Their Hawaiian Omelette and hash browns were average in taste. Service was good. It's not anything special out of ordinary place but good enough for filling and satisfying breakfast/ brunch food. I would recommend this place. I say somewhere between 2.5 - 3 stars.

Great food at great prices! They just had their anniversary, so I've been coming here for about a year. I've had breakfast and lunch. Everything has been awesome! The skillets are delicious! Not greasy, not dry. Not too soft or undercooked. Anytime I order one, it's perfect! The Honeyberry Salad is one of my favorite lunch items. The ingredients are fresh and of high quality. The blackened chicken on top of it is perfectly spiced. The pomegranate dressing is out of this world delicious! But if you're in the mood for a burger, you have to try one. I love their burgers, the meat is delicious and of high QUALITY! I asked the manager, he said they grind and press their own beef. No wonder they're so delicious! Oh, and don't get me started on the homemade Greek yogurt. WOW!

I hate having to write such a poor review for a place where the food has normally been good, and the location is amazing (1 minute from my home) but the poor attitude of the female manager is out of this world. I have never experienced such a "cold" feeling from someone who should be seen as warm, inviting, and professional, especially since it's a fairly new place. The manager apparently has problems with people who ask for more condiments with their meals and made this very well known when myself and a friend were dining. They bring you a dollop size dish of ketchup to use..not enough if you have burger and fries or even just fries for that matter! Same with the syrup! When we asked our waitress for more, she brought it out quickly but the manager wasn't impressed. She proceeded to stand behind our table and talk down about our waitress who had brought too much to our table...I turned around and asked her if she was indeed talking about us. I told her that I, the customer, had asked for more and our waitress was nothing but helpful. Her response was something to the tune of too many people are wasteful thats why she doesn't like more being used. How about putting a bottle or jar on the table... She was so incredibly rude and it really left a sour taste in my mouth. Minus her the place would get 4 stars from me, but honestly every time I walk in I look around and try to avoid seeing her or having to hear from her at all costs during my meal.

We were excited to try this new breakfast spot so close to home, taking over the spot where Max and Erma's had long since closed their doors. I wanted to like it, but there wasn't much to like. We couldn't tell if our server was rude or just bad at her job...the tone in every word she said was either sarcastic or passive agressive (we're easy customers...not much to be snarky about). The food was mediocre. There were no options for combos, which kills me - sometimes I want a waffle, but would like some bacon and eggs too. Most breakfast places let you get a smaller version of the main entree and upgrade to a combo for a little extra, but here, just an extra order of bacon was more than $3. I had a strawberry waffle, my husband had apple cinnamon french toast. they were both ok...my waffle was soggy, but he said his french toast was decent. Both of us loved the fresh squeezed OJ. Otherwise, the restaurant seems to lack personality and warmth. I'm not sure how you generate that, but I can tell when it's absent, and sadly, at Honeyberry, it's absent.

My family and I love this place! I'm a pretty picky person when it comes to restaurants. I had my first meal here with some mom friends on a school day and we loved it. I've been back five or six times since then. Coffee is delicious (though I'm not a coffee snob) and they have the BEST eggs Benedict. I get eggs benedict at nearly every breakfast restaurant I go to, and this is the BEST. Fresh fruit...decent hashbrowns and a wide selection of sweet and savory dishes. We've never had a poor server experience...but I generally like the server to just leave me alone unless I'm ordering! Prices are comparable. Highly recommend this place!

breakfastrules.blogspot.… Well, that was a brief but impactful breakfast. There was good food, good service, lively discussion--both in person and on Facebook--and we were in and out so fast we would get to the campground just in time to crack open a few beers before the show. Brent really liked his French toast. When I asked him why he still had food on his plate he said that he just didn't want to keep eating. That a boy, Brent! We don't always have to be in the clean plate club. I liked my omelette and my hashbrowns. The pancakes were good. The coffee was just right. For a random, emergency breakfast stop, we were quiet satisfied and that's why Honeyberry in Arlington Heights gets a good rating of 3.25 Brent faces

Not impressed Maybe the pancakes and sweets were good, but the savory dishes we had were not. I got 2 eggs and corned beef hash. I take corned beef hash as a measure of a place, and this place is lacking. It was obviously from a can, not fresh-very mushy. My husband got the eggs Benedict and sausage patties. The meat was obviously inferior quality. The patties were spongy with very little spice. Eggs Benedict were boring, with a very thick English muffin base. Our server was ok, plenty of seating, hostess was so-so. No greeting hello or goodbye.

If I can give this place 0 stars, I would. If the handwritten "Now Hiring: Experience Required" sign on the front door doesn't scream absolute desperation, the quality (or lack there of) of the current staff will. This was our second and LAST visit here. I ordered a skillet with no chorizo in it. When it arrived, it was as ordered until I took a couple bites out of it. There were a couple scattered pieces of chorizo in it. I notified the waitress. She took the meal away. It seems like when she took it to the manager, the manager scrambled the meal up to dig for these rogue pieces of chorizo. Then he brought it back to our table and insisted there was no chorizo in it and asked us to show him where it is. Excuse me??!?? First off, I don't appreciate my honesty being questioned. Second of all, how am I to be assured that the same guy that's questioning my integrity didn't actually pick off all the chorizo pieces when he took my meal in the kitchen? This manager was a complete joke. If he can't even trust a customer to not make up lies to get free meals and has to accuse them, he may not have any left soon. Save your money or go to a place that respects their customers.

The food is just okay for brunch. We ordered the Irish skillet and the banana bread french toast. The skillet was okay, the corned beef was pretty obviously from a can, but that's to be expected for most restaurants. The potatoes in the skillet were a little undercooked, making them a little too firm to comfortably chew, while the peppers were totally uncooked, making them standout as an odd addition to the mix . The french toast was much better, and would have been 4-5 stars, had the other meal had not been so bad. The staff was friendly, though rushed. They brought the bill only a minute or two after the food had arrived, taking up a lot of the table top and giving the impression that they wanted us to get out as fast as we could. Overall, the meal was okay, a little pricey, and probably not worth a second visit as there a lot of better brunch spots in the area.

I sit here wondering why I've never written a review for Honeyberry. I've been here about five times and it never disappoints. Typically you'll find me getting some sort of pancake - Chocolate Chip of Red Velvet. Unlike some, I never feel rushed or anything. The servers are always very nice. One time I even had the Tuna Melt for lunch and it was great. This is just a really nice place to visit if you're not in the mood for making breakfast at home.

Watching the manager berate her employees, finding multiple hairs in my food, getting terrible service, feeling like the customers are an annoyance. Let me count the ways. Oh, and the food is pretty good.

Always a great breakfast joint. After a horrible experience on Valentine's Night dinner at 5th Ave Sushi, came to heal to an awesome homemade breakfast the next morning and awesome capucino. The service is excellent and food is served within 15 minutes even on the busy days. Yes it is a bit on a pricey side but its wellworth it! The food tastes exceptional and very friendly staff. The kids love this place as well. Will come here every weekend. I recommend their Honeyberry Crepes! I always get those as a treat!

If you want a better brunch than Panera bread but aren't interested in waiting or dealing with the madness of Egg Harbor Cafe, come to Honeyberry! My friends and I used to be regulars at Egg Harbor Cafe over by Northwest Hwy but this became our new haunt after just one breakfast. If you want a Saturday brunch but don't want to make a reservation, this is the place to go. They have tons of seating and the hostess is quick to seat. Once you've sat down, the waitstaff is prompt and provide excellent suggestions for breakfast if you want it. And once they take your order, it's less than 10 minutes until you're served. Fast! But delicious food! Last time I came, I ordered the Ole Omelette which had spicy chorizo sausage, jalapeno peppers, onions, avocado and Chihuahua cheese served with salsa and sour cream. For a side I had fruit and an English muffin. All for the low price of $8.75. An excellent deal! My friends had the pancakes and eggs and the Hawaiian omelette. I tasted all and everything was perfect. I will definitely come again! Excellent price, excellent meal. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because the menu isn't that exciting. Everything is standard breakfast fair. That doesn't mean it's bad, it just isn't ~*exciting*~. Would I recommend an out-of-towner to make the trek to Arlington Heights for this restaurant? No. Would I recommend this place to all my local friends? Definitely. It has the small-town breakfast feel. So it isn't exceptionally incredibly amazing but when you want a Saturday brunch with friends, you don't need exciting. You just need good food, good prices, good service, and a good environment.

Wanted to be adventurous this weekend and decided to try a new place for breakfast so went to Honeyberry Cafe. Sat at the bar area as we didn't want to wait. I liked the decor. Very clean and contemporary. Our server/barista was a bit out of it but I guess she was a barista more than a server so I don't blame her. We got coffee and waited for silverware and our set ups. That was kind of annoying. Let's start with judging the menu. I was very disappointed with what it had to offer. It reminded me of the menu at Dennys. Nothing special, nothing original and very boring. I didn't know what to order. Usually I am overwhelmed not underwhelmed. I was very annoyed and very disappointed so I said eh when in doubt always go for the lox. My husband ordered the steak and eggs with pancakes. We also had turkey sausage. The food was pretty amazing to my surprise. The salmon was fresh, the steak was tender and cooked to perfection. It was great, I was shocked as it was such a rocky start for me. I suggest a reinvention of the menu because other than that this place is pretty amazing. I will definitely go again, boring options or not

Favorite breakfast spot in Arlington Heights. Don't go around 11am on a weekend, crowds will be a guarantee. Order for pick up instead ;-) Always have great service and love the food.

My sister and I continued our quest to find the best pancakes in the world! I went to Honeyberry Cafe with high expectations, hoping the best after hearing only good things about it. They have a VERY big menu; ranging from French toast to frittatas. The overall ambiance of the restaurant was good, too (& very big!). I ordered a fresh-squeezed OJ and coffee. The OJ was definitely fresh-squeezed and definitely delicious. The coffee was bold and fresh; also fresh, cold cream is brought to you individually (As opposed to the icky cream buckets that some restaurants leave on the table all day). A+ for that. My sister chose the "Border Skillet" with spicy Chorizo sausage, onions, jalapeno peppers, tomatoes, avocado and cheese. The skillet was loaded and very flavorful. I had a veggie skillet, also pleasing, but not as flavorful as my sister's Border Skillet I sampled. The hash-browns were a little dry, however, constituting an over-all bland taste. The pancakes were VERY good and are some of the best I've had in a while...but I'm not ending my quest here :) Overall, Honeyberry Cafe was very good and worth a shot (I give it a 3.5/5). I'd definitely want go back and try HBC for lunch, too. The only drawback is that it's a lot more expensive than most breakfast/lunch joints, so be prepared to spend a little more for your eggies here.

We came in on a Saturday morning and we were seated within 5 minutes. We were led by their older male manager. A few minutes later, the waitress cheerfully asked if we wanted anything to drink. I ordered a cappuccino. What I got was a really big cup of cappuccino. It tasted good but I would have preferred to be asked what size as I ended up not drinking half of it. We ordered their Red Velvet Pancakes which were listed on their Specials Menu Tent and their Meat Lovers Skillet with Pancakes. They were both just "OK" and nothing really special. I would have preferred my cream cheese glaze be on the side because it look really messy and made my pancakes too soggy and too sweet (they drizzled white and dark chocolate and chocolate shavings on top). Just a note to myself next time. I found it really odd that the older male manager just kept looking around and acted like the host leading customers to their table (and yes, there was a hostess also) but never really did his rounds to ask if the customers were enjoying their meal. Never really heard him say anything to the customers except when he led a group of young men to their table and said "Be nice to your waitress". Overall, I would come back to Honeyberry since they are closer to me than Wildberry and so far without the wait either. This would be more of 3.5/5 stars. Hey Honeyberry.. I want to see something different... try making Carrot Cake pancakes or coffee flavored pancakes.. how about an "Elvis" Pancake stuffed with banana and peanut butter??? or get on the band-wagon of Paleo and/or Gluten-Free ingredients.

Terrible experience today! This sealed the deal for me to not come back. I've never been anywhere that I've been made to feel like a burden and someone took my money and killed the entire dining experience for me. It was as if I didn't have the right to enjoy my food and I should consider myself lucky to be let in the door at all. Came in and was seated and literally the waitress wanted to know if I was ready to order in less than two minutes. So felt a little rushed. Secondly the waitress argues with me that they don't carry cherry syrup for their drinks. She argues that I must mean raspberry or I'm thinking of another place. So she is so confident (arrogant?) she suggests we walk up to the bar together so she could show me. Lo and behold, there's the cherry syrup! Did I get an apology? No. My dark chocolate mocha with a pump of cherry came as an unenthusiastic white chocolate with no cherry. I clarified with the waitress to make sure it was ordered as dark chocolate. She went to the back and I could hear the screaming, "what I made it right? Who is this?" The waitress voiced yelled after the aforementioned screaming manager filling in for the barista, "table 66." The first thing she says when she arrives at our table is "I'm not making that drink again. I did the exact measurements for a mocha latte." Wow. Funny because this was about my fifth trip here and I've never once had a problem with my drink order. Then I ordered the Raspberry Waffle, it comes with berry compote, fresh raspberries and white chocolate. I asked no white chocolate. Well I didn't get any compote. When I asked for it, I was brought raspberry syrup! Then I was charged $1.50 for it. Funny how I asked to leave off one thing and I got charged extra. Then the vacuuming starts. I can't have a conversation. The vacuum guy is right next to my table! Unsanitary! I don't want dust in my food and I can't even enjoy my meal. As soon as the vacuuming finishes the music is turned off and all you hear is the staff bitching in the back. We will let the brown omelette and over cooked sausage go for now... Enough said.

15 minutes late seating us for our 11:00 reservation. Zero empathy expressed. Food was good. Server was very attentive and professional. They overcame the initial bad taste we had.
(3)Mc S.
The food was pretty good and I liked the layout nice as well but the server the I had while I dined there was terrible he is the only male server we waited over 45 minutes for our food I would eat there again just not with him as my server
(2)Maggie W.
This was my first time at Honeyberry and I was so pleasently surprised. All of the food was amazing (especially for the semi-cheap price). I got the strawberry Nutella waffle and it was amazing! Also, I highly recommend the hot chocolate. The wait wasn't long even though it was pretty busy. All around awesome place!

Stopped in here for brunch on Saturday with my wife. We were seated quickly, and the hostess even gave us the booth we requested. Our waitress wasted no time to come and take drink orders while giving us some time to review the menus. There are a lot of options on the menu including a variety of sweet and savory breakfast options. I was eyeing the biscuits and gravy when the Irish Skillet changed my mind. Being so close to St. Patrick's Day, I figured I couldn't go wrong with corned beef hash with onions and green peppers smothered in cheese and topped with 2 eggs the way you like it (over easy in my case). It was outstanding, and it even came with a side of pancakes that were cooked to perfection and perfectly sweet. I ordered a side of sausage links as well. The wife ordered the Brioche french toast which was a large portion. She really enjoyed it. She also had a side order of bacon that was crispy. The service was excellent. They kept our drinks full and brought everything to the table at the same time. I will definitely consider returning for brunch in the future.

I had the day off of work and decided I wanted to go get some breakfast by myself. Somewhere I could cozy up with a book. I decided to try out Honeyberry Café, since it had been on my radar for a while. I was seated right away after getting in right before the 9 am weekday rush! The service was attentive and poured me a glass of water and a cup of coffee immediately. I took a minute to decide what I wanted. I am always indecisive. I finally settled on the Irish Skillet which had corned beef hash. The food came out so quickly , I barely had time to do any reading. I was not a big fan of it. I felt like the skillet part was tasteless. I added salt. I guess since they are still fairly new, I will have to give them another go in the future. But, judging by other reviewers, I am not sure they have much of a future!
(3)Joseph S.
They boast about their pancakes but its dry and not so tasty. I can over look the dry pancakes and soggy skillet (used wrong potatoes), screwed up my order, but the service was terrible and waste of money. Came to my table once to give me the check. Everyone looks angry. Not a very friendly place. They seemed bothered because we were there.
(2)Kristin B.
Honeyberry hosted my organization's professional women's networking group with great hospitality and delicious food! Tim and the rest of the team helped with set up and take down and were able to take orders from 50 women and serve a full breakfast in a timely manner during our only 1 hour event. Great service and food!

a descent place for breakfast in the burbs. I had a scramble it was reliable and the staff was attentive and nice.
(4)Candice G.
It's a bold statement to open a breakfast/brunch cafe in area that has as many beloved breakfast nooks as this area does, and while it seems Honeyberry may have pulled it's inspiration from those other area cafes, it somehow manages to come across as uninspired in almost every unit of measure. I know that Honeyberry is new, and it's because of that newness that I feel compelled to be generous with 3-stars, but frankly, I don't feel like the things that were a turn-off for me were due in part to things that could be characterized as new business jitters or kinks, but just a general lack character. Beyond that Honeyberry stays open later than it's competitors ('til 4pm), I wouldn't say there's anything they've got going for them that isn't being done, and being done better by another business. I realize that I sound pretty harsh right now, especially for a new place, but I came here when I had so many other stellar options to choose from, and I spent my hard-earned money on an experience that only skimmed the very barest minimum of meeting even average expectations. I feel like a business that's going to boldly name itself so similarly to area favorite, Wildberry, with another attempt to (poorly) replicate they signature menu items, attempt to decorate itself like Egg Harbor and Brunch & Egg'lectic Cafe, and with a menu that beyond the items that are an almost blatant rip off of Wildberry, were so simple that I found myself wishing I'd have just stayed home and made myself a basic breakfast with eggs, cheese, potatoes and peppers that didn't cost me $10 a plate. I'd rather do a basic diner breakfast from Mr Allison's or Prospect Heights Grill or TNT Snack Shop where I'd be paying less than half the cost of a meal here. Immediately entering, we weren't greeted with any welcomes or smiles, just a host stand and register staffed with 3 people who didn't make eye contact and seemed annoyed to be manning a wait list. The wait around noon was about 15 minutes and while their waiting area has a juice and latte bar (again, much like Wildberry), there are seats along the bar that were so packed that you couldn't even get to a server to order anything if you tried. There are three small banquettes to wait on, but the crowd here is a largely geriatric, so if you're under 50 and respect your elders, you likely won't be able to take a seat in good conscience. The women's bathroom has one regular and one handicap stall, not enough because both while we were waiting to be seated I could see a line formed inside the bathroom to use the loo and when I went to use the washroom after our meal I waited in a line 6 people deep for 10 minutes and when I got out there were at least 8 now waiting. For a family breakfast joint with so many children who likely can't hold it very long and elderly people who don't move too fast, I see this as a huge problem. The bathrooms also had garbage all over their floors and feminine product dispensers overflowing from the garbage bins. The coffee was fine, I had it refilled twice but once our bill was dropped (prematurely while we were still eating) no one came back over. I had to flag someone down twice for water and another time for a box for our leftovers. The Honeyberry French Toast was an thinly veiled copy off Wildberry's signature French toast, only smaller in portion, limp in comparison, with a lemon frosting instead of the rich, luxurious mascarpone cheese at W-berry. The H-berry version wasn't bad, but why get it here when I can get a portion that can feed 2 people with higher quality ingredients elsewhere? The vegetarian options on the menu were especially boring so we asked if we could do the South of the Border skillet sans chorizo and sub with extra avocado. Our server then said that there'd be an up-charge for the avocado, even though the main and most costly ingredient in our $10 skillet was being omitted, and suggested I just get the veggie skillet, that wasn't at all similar to the thing I just said I wanted. I said I didn't want that other dish and that if it was going to be an extra charge that I didn't want the extra avocado, then our server came back and said it was fine and we wouldn't be charged more for subbing the most expensive ingredient with cheaper ingredient- great! ... but then why when our skillet came, was there only a wimpy 3 thin slices of avocado covered in black spots sitting on top? There was barely any avocado at all, let alone "extra", not to mention it was practically decaying on the plate. The potatoes were undercooked and made the whole dish taste like a starch salad, there was no salsa, no cilantro, no spice. Even the jalapenos were just jalapeno skin, might as well have been green pepper. Bland and starched over. The bill was around $24 + $5 tip, but I would have rather paid $40 and waited an hour for Wildberry. Simply put: There's no scenario where I'd choose Honeyberry over the other area options.

As Candice said, there are many great breakfast choices in the area. These include Red Apple, Wildberry Cafe, Walker Bros, Maxfields, Egg Harbor, Rise 'n Dine, etc. While the restaurant is spacious and nicely decorated, the measure of a restaurant has to be the food. In this regard, there was not one item that impressed me. One of the most important features of a breakfast place is their coffee. While Honeyberry's coffee was hot in temperature, it tasted almost over-extracted and dull. The milkshake was equally disappointing, lacking in flavor and richness. The cream of mushroom soup I tried was a bit on the salty side and failed to bring out the flavor of the mushroom and was not sufficiently creamy. The monte cristo was bland and oily. Most of the problem with the sandwich was due to the fact that french toast was very poorly done. It was not crispy and lacked egg flavor. The sweet potato fries that accompanied this did have a strong taste of sweet potato but were equally mushy. The benedict I tried was lacking in flavor as well, despite the smoked salmon under the egg. The hollandaise sauce was very creamy, but had an unpleasant texture and flavor to it. With some extra butter and pepper, it may have made the dish better but this is nothing like the amazing benedicts you will find at the restaurants above. The hash browns were alright, but could have been crispier. The crab cake sandwich was alright in flavor, but extremely salty -- mostly due to the onion strings that are generously piled over the crab cake. While the blend of different textures is interesting, executing a proper amount of seasoning is necessary to make the dish successful. Honeyberry Cafe is located in an excellent area near where I shop regularly but the food has to improve. I hope this occurs soon as the decor and size of the restaurant makes this a pleasant choice compared to some of the overcrowded restaurants nearby.

This was my second attempt at eating here, the first time didn't go so well. Thought I try again. Sent back raw hash browns to cook more and they never came back out. The waitress asked if I wanted fruit instead, I said sure, then they charged me for it and wouldn't take it off my bill. Went back today and they messed up both breakfast orders - not special orders, just right off the menu. Ate my cold toast while waiting for my eggs to come back. Ordered waffle to go with no syrup, got home to find pancakes swimming I syrup. Coffee was very watery and cold. Definitely won't be back.

I thoroughly enjoyed this place, from the service to the food. They were a bit slow to greet and I had to find someone to help get a table, but after that, food was tasty, even the basic pancakes were wonderful, my server had a great attitude, answered all my questions, and was very sociable and energetic. Only a few reasons I didn't quite give this a five were a few times I had to find waitstaff or other people to help me (couldn't tell if they were short-handed or busy with other duties).

The wait staff is always very pleasant and it's always reasonable wait time. The prices are good and the food is even better. Great place for after church or if your just hungry for some good breakfast.

I'm on the fence whether Honeyberry deserves 2 or 3 stars. The experience was just okay - there are both pros and cons. I don't know that I'd return and give them another chance, so... let's call this 2.5, shall we? I came to Honeyberry with my mom and my Yia Yia last Sunday for breakfast, because my Yia likes to get "scrambled eggs with cheddar." Uh, okay. I've never seen this woman eat scrambled eggs with cheddar before IN MY LIFE, but... I digress. We were seated right away, I assume because St. Edna's was still in service, because when we left, there were a lot of people waiting. We were offered coffee right away - and began to peruse the menu. They have a lot going on, which I appreciate, but it all seems like variations on the same thing (i.e., I could have gotten the same ingredients in either a skillet, omelette, or frittata.) I decided on either the corned beef hash skillet or their version of the Mexican skillet (chorizo, jalepenos, onions, tomatoes, etc.) Note, their corned beef hash is NOT homemade, which is always my selling point to go in the opposite direction. So, I ordered the Mexican skillet, which they call "the Border skillet." I asked for poached eggs and hash browns rather than diced potatoes. My mom ordered a spinach and bacon omelette with cheddar, and my Yia ordered her scrambled eggs with cheddar. When the order came out, 2 of the three were wrong, right off the bat. Yia's eggs came with no cheddar, and my skillet came with scrambled eggs. We insisted my mom eat while her's was hot, but it wasn't that hot to begin with. I'm fairly confident that they scraped the scrambled eggs off of my skillet and added poached, and took my yia's already cooked eggs and threw some cheese on them and stuck it under the broiler. Holy over-cooked eggs, Batman. All in all, there were no apologies made, the manager didn't come by, nothing to make us want to return to give Honeyberry another shot. Honestly, I just left feeling disappointed.

Good food, good prices, good service. Really , what more could you ask for? We stopped in for breakfast before heading out for a morning of errands. We were hoping for something quick, tasty and wouldn't break the bank. And Honeyberry delivered. We ordered two of the morning special: 2 eggs, 2 pancakes, 2 strips of bacon or sausages and a glass of orange juice. $7.99 The eggs were done just right, the pancakes were nice and fluffy and the bacon was crisp but not over cooked. I suspect the orange juice is fresh squeezed as well. We were seated quickly, service was quick and efficient. We're looking forward to going back for some of the other options on the menu, including crepes. This could be our new weekend breakfast haunt. Definitely recommend giving it a shot.

The best Denver omelet I've ever had, and I'm from Denver. The hash browns were amazing and the service was good too. I highly recommend this place. My sister got Nutella strawberry pancakes which were fantastic as well.

This place is a poor man's Wildberry... But they charge like they are first rate. If you are going to be charged high prices you may as well go to someplace which will deliver on the experience. This place is not it.
